Bobbie Lee Franklin Burns, age 38 of Demorest, passed away Sunday, November 22,
2015, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Habersham County on April 26, 1977, she was a daughter of Robert Lee
Franklin and Linda Ann Foster Porterfield.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brittany Burns and a brother, Tracy Cross.
Surviving are daughters, Haley Burns of Demorest and Chelsey Burns of Martin;
mother, Linda Ann Foster Porterfield of Cornelia; father and step-mother, Robert Lee
and Brenda Franklin of Demorest; brothers, Dewey Franklin of Clarkesville, Earl
Williams of Lula and Dean Cross of Mt. Airy; sisters, Denean Arnold of Baldwin, Shelia
Brown of Martin, Jennifer Pitts of Mt. Airy, Tammy Skelton of Clarkesville, Christy Jones
of Seneca, South Carolina and Nicole Franklin of Demorest; step-sisters, Lakeeta
Porterfield of Demorest and Tammy Lance of Hayesville, North Carolina; many nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
