(Peachtree City)- The national Weather Service has issued a …WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY that will be in effect from 9 PM Saturday evening until 10 AM Sunday morning.
Forecasters say the affected area is..far north Georgia, generally north of a line from LaFayette to Dawsonville and Cleveland. Snow is expected, one inch or less, but higher elevations could see an inch or more.
According to forecasters snow may begin mixing with rain as early as mid-evening across the higher elevations, moving to lower elevations after midnight. Precipitation will be ending by early to mid-morning.
With temperatures hovering around freezing across the advisory area, spotty areas of slick roads are expected by late this evening through early Sunday morning.
Use caution while driving.
