(Cleveland)- Two Cleveland residents were arrested on Monday on drug related charges following a three month investigation by local authorities.
Cleveland Police Chief John Foster advised in a news release that their investigation revealed the distribution of between two to three ounces of Methamphetamine a week.
Chief Foster said, on Monday they executed a search and arrest warrants at 435 Pine Crest Circle in the city. Foster identified those arrested as 44-year old Lisa Gail Wertz age and 29-year-old Ruben Derick Hoffman, both were residing at that location.
According to Chief Foster, Wertz is charged with Distribution of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Cruelty to Children first degree. Hoffman is charged with Distribution of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Cruelty to Children first degree.
Lisa Gail Wertz is being housed at the White County Detention Center while Ruben Derick Hoffman is being held at the Habersham County Detention on unrelated charges.
Foster said, the investigation is ongoing at this time.
