White County Commissioners, Terry Goodger, Travis Turner, Craig Bryant, Helen Wilkins, Commissioners Len Holcomb and Edwin Nix
(Cleveland)- The White County Board of Commissioners took time to recognize a couple of public servants in the county during their Tuesday meeting. Special recognition was given to former Helen Mayor/ Commissioner for her 20 years of service to the citizens.
White County Commissioner Craig Bryant read the proclamation saying, “ Ms. Helen Wilkins has faithfully served the city of Helen commission for 20 years and the White County Board of Commissioners wish to present this proclamation in appreciation of her years of service on her retirement from Helen City Commission. You have made a difference, presented this second day of January 2018.”
The commissioners also recognized Cleveland City Councilman Ed Young for his 47 years of service to the citizens of Cleveland.
Wilkins was the only one, of the two, that attended the meeting and each of the commissioners took time to thank her personally for her service and wish her well in the future.
