AUGUSTA, Ga. – After upsetting the No. 13 team in the nation and going 2-0 on the week, University of North Georgia women’s soccer goalkeeper Hannah Goudy was named the Peach Belt Conference’s goalkeeper of the week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Goudy played all but five minutes in the Nighthawks’ two wins last week, giving up only one goal in each game. The junior keeper from Cumming made two saves in a full 90 minutes as UNG handed No. 13 Georgia College their first loss of the season, 2-1, Wednesday evening. She then made one save and gave up a goal on a PK in a 4-1 win over Francis Marion Sunday afternoon.

Goudy is fourth in the PBC in goals against average and fifth in minutes played.

The Nighthawks will travel to Georgia Southwestern on Wednesday with kickoff set for 6 p.m.
