12/15/2021White County Warriors Mixed Against Denmark - WRWH
(Gainesville)- – Tuesday night in Warrior sports, the Warriors were on the road to take on the North Hall Trojans.

The varsity girls team took an early lead, which they maintained throughout the game. By the start of the third period, White County had more than doubled North Hall’s score, and with a shortened 4th, it was an early evening for the Lady Warriors.

Girls’ game final was 63 to 30, White County.

Following their loss last week to the Bobcats, the Varsity boys were looking for redemption, but as the game played out it seemed as if they were going to get it.

Tied with the Trojans at the end of the 1st period at 15, the Warriors were barely able to pull ahead by halftime by only 6 points. The Trojans were ahead at the end of the 3rd, and it looked as if North Hall would take the victory. But the last few minutes of the game is where the action was. The Warriors were down by 4 with 3 minutes left to play but White County would tie it up at 67 with only 22 seconds left in the game.

A foul on North Hall would give the Warriors the break they needed, and 2 successful free throws put the Warriors on top by two with 10 seconds left.

A missed 3 point shot by the Trojans would seal their fate Drew Harris called the last seconds:
