(Cleveland)- The majority of Monday’s White County Commissioners meeting centered around consent agenda item, items that the commissioners had addressed in last weeks works session and were approved with out further discussion.
Among the decisions, approval of funds to purchase two vehicles for the White County Sheriff’s Office also the purchase of a truck for the county maintenance department. The commissioners also approved the purchase of upgraded financial software for the White County Tax Commissioners Office. Approval was given for the sealing of the floors at the White County Animal Control facility and the approval of a contract to replace the tile flooring at the White County Courthouse.
Except for the floor sealing project at the animal control facility the approved projects will be funded with 2014 SPLOST tax money.
The White County Commissioners also paid special recognition and approved a proclamation in honor of White County Special Olympics, which will be held this Thursday, at 10 AM at White County High School stadium.
