(MILLEDGEVILLE) – On Friday, the Truett McConnell University men’s cross country team traveled to compete in the GMC Brickyard Invitational, hosted by Georgia Military College. TMU was seen finishing in fifth place overall out of 11 teams, with a combined total of 140 points.

Leading the way for the Bears was senior Marco Flores who individually placed 11th with a time of 29:02.60. Bryson Swartz followed placing 25th with a time of 31:01.40, while Connor Morgan finished in 34th (32:05.60) and Luke Palmer finished in 38th (32:24.60).

Up next the Bears will travel to Shelby, N.C. on Saturday, September 23, to compete in the Yeti Invitational hosted by Cleveland Community College.
