(Cleveland)- Lots of water customers in the city of Cleveland recently received a second bill, on the heals of an original bill. During Tuesday night’s city council meeting Connie Tracas, City Clerk advised that the city had approved working with the company that already does their credit card and online payments to do the monthly billing.
She said, they estimated that it would save the city around $3,100 dollars a year.
Tracas said, “ this was the first run and they were sent out twice by error.” Tracas in response to reporters question about how many people who didn’t realize it was the same bill that they had already paid, said “today has been a nightmare”, referring to Tuesday.
So if you got one of those second billings, just ignore it.
