(Cleveland)- The White County Board of Commissioners has announced that they will take a full rollback on the 2024 county tax millage rate. The commissioners announced Tuesday that they will hold a called meeting on Friday, August 9, at 8:30 AM for the purpose of setting the tax millage rate for the county.
The meeting will be held at the White County Administration Building on the Helen Highway, north of Cleveland. The public is welcome to attend.
The White County Board of Education has also approved taking a full rollback of the education portion of the tax millage. The board also announced Tuesday they will hold a called meeting on August 8th at 6 PM for the purpose of setting the education millage rate for the county.
