(Cleveland)- White County Assistant Superintendant of Schools Johnathan Stribling has announced that after attending a briefing by the National Weather Service and with input from the White County Emergency Management Agency, they have decided to close schools for students and staff on Thursday, September 26, and Friday, September 27.

It is predicted that White County will experience an unprecedented weather event that may result in flooding, widespread power outages, and hazardous driving conditions.

Stribling asked that everyone please prepare for this storm and remain safe.
