(Cleveland)- It was a time of recognition Monday during the White County Board of Commissioners Meeting.  First, the commission board recognized the White County Recreation 4 and 5th-grade teams, cheerleaders, coaches, and family members after the two teams won the 2021 Mountain Football League Super Bowl in November.   

The commissioners also approved proclamations honoring some individuals for “Making a Difference”  with their service to White County. 

Bill Black was recognized for his 16 years of service representing White County on the Georgia Mountains Regional Commission Board. Mr. Marlon Caldwell recognized for  8 years of service on the White County Voter Registration Board and other county services.  Ms. Judy Lovell was recognized for her service as a White County educator and county historian.  

Dean and Bonnie Dyer were honored to receive recognition for over 45 years of work at WRWH Radio and throughout the community.
