(Cleveland)- An Alto woman has been cited in connection with a two-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon that involved a White County Fire Department vehicle.
Cpl. Joshua Hedden with the Georgia State Patrol Post 6 in Gainesville said the accident was reported at 12:47 PM on State Route 254 at Webster Lake Road. According to Hedden vehicle one, a 2013 Ford Escape, driven by 55-year-old Donna Welsh of Alto was traveling north on Webster Lake Road and failed to yield after stopping at the stop sign and proceeded north to Post Road.
Vehicle 2, the fire vehicle, driven by 30-year old Bradley Alexander was traveling west on SR 254, negotiating a curve to the right and struck the passenger side front quarter panel of vehicle 1.
According to Cpl. Hedden Welsh was not injured but was cited for failure to yield after stopping at a stop sign. Alexander received minor injuries.
