(Habersham County)- Earlier this week, after receiving citizen complaints and a two month investigation, Agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office and the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office arrested three individuals.
In a news release, GBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Ken Howard said, on Tuesday 32 -year old Douglas James Mashburn, 29- year old Stephen Crocker Duncan, and 53 -year old Todd Jasper Funk all of Clarkesville, were arrested and charged with Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and Attempt or Conspiracy to Violate Georgia Controlled Substance Act (VGCSA).
According to Howard, task Force Agents and members of the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office seized methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and drug packaging materials.
Howard said, the investigation continues and other arrests are expected.
