Mrs. Bell Elinburg Maddox, age 95, of Alto, GA (formerly of Buford, GA), passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. S. Maddox; parents, Lee and Alma Holman Elinburg; brother, Larry Elinburg.
Mrs. Maddox is survived by her son, Kent (Barbara) Maddox of Cleveland, GA; granddaughter, Alicia Maddox of Cumming, GA; nephews, Scott Elinburg, Michael Elinburg, Horace (Barbara) Mddox of Jefferson, GA, Larry (Jackie) Maddox of Buford, GA, David Phillips of Toccoa, GA, Donnie Maddox of Florida; several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Maddox was born on January 16, 1929 in Buford, GA. She graduated from Sugar Hill High School. Mrs. Maddox was a member of B. C. Grant Baptist Church in Alto, GA, and a former member of Zion Hill Church, in Buford, GA. Mrs. Maddox was a homemaker.
A Private Interment will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA with Rev. Scott Smith officiating.
