(Cleveland)- The White County Board of Education met Tuesday morning January 23, at 8 AM, during that meeting it was announced that Burton Davis was the January recipient of the Service Above Self Award presented in conjunction with the White County Rotary Club.
Burton, a bus mechanic with the school system, received six recommendations for this award. He truly cares about the students and staff, helps without hesitation, and never complains. In addition to his duties as a bus mechanic, Burton volunteers to drive the sub-bus each morning.
Dr. MaryKay Berry, Director of Student Services, said, “He is the true meaning of BE MORE”
