(Cleveland)- The Boil Water Notice issued Friday for a large section of the City of Cleveland has been lifted.

The 6-inch water line break that prompted the notice affected residents and businesses on the following streets:  Ash St, Old Nacoochee Rd, a portion of Church St, Yonah Springs Charles Dr., Three-M Court, Woodman Hall Rd, Parkview Dr., Spring St., Brady St, Pine St, Russell St., Dixon Dr., Faulkner St, Clara Bell Dr., Oakwood Ct., Cagle St., Carroll St., and E Jarrard St. area of the city’s water service area

Due to this main break and repair, the City issued a boil water notice to the local media.  The notice is required by the EPD.  This notice is to ensure the safety of the drinking water to the city’s customers in the event of the possibility of a contaminant entering the system.

The city advised Monday that EPD has confirmed with the City that all tests are clear and the Boil Water   Notice has been lifted.
