(Cleveland)- The City of Cleveland has issued a Boil Water Notice due to a 6” water main break at 203 Green Street. Andrea Smith Water Distribution Operator for the City of Cleveland Public Works said, this boil water notice affects the following addresses/areas:
- Green Street
- Cox Creek
- Area of Quillian Street between Green Street and Boulevard Street
- Boulevard Street
- Lunsford Lane
- Mountain Overlook Drive
- Bob White Circle
- Town View Drive
- Pine Crest
- Pine Crest Circle
According to Smith, due to this main break and repair, the City issued a boil water notice to advice resident who are affected, which is required by EPD.
The Boil Water Notice is to ensure the safety of the drinking water to the city’s customers in the event of the possibility of a contaminant entering the system.
The city will notify the media when the notice has been lifted.
