Jimmy Lloyde Moss

(Cleveland)- A Cleveland man faces charges of felony obstruction of an officer following his arrest last week.  Capt. Clay Hammond with the White County Sheriff’s office advised in an email that on March 16th  the White County Sheriff’s Office was called to a residence at  457 Whiskey Still Drive. in reference to a person in the basement of the home, destroying property.

Hammond said when deputies arrived they made contact with the male suspect, identified as 34-year old Jimmy Moss of Cleveland.  Deputies placed Moss under arrest and Hammond said while doing so Moss kicked one of the Deputies.

Moss has been charged with Criminal Trespass, Obstruction of a law enforcement officer (Felony), and two counts of Simple Battery against a Peace Officer.

At last report, Moss remained in the White County Detention Center, with an $11,000 bond.
