Credit:Trent Crawford WRWH(Cleveland)- The Cleveland Police Department reports the following activities for the period of February 6-11.

February 6, 2024 Officers responded to a Boulevard Street residence in reference to a domestic dispute. Investigation showed that one subject was mad and left the residence, and another subject locked the door. The subject that left got more upset and began kicking the door and yelling, causing neighbors to call for assistance. The subject was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
February 7, 2024 Officers were advised of a fire in an AC unit at an East Kytle Street business, officers responded to the business and were able to use a fire extinguisher and control the fire until a fire unit arrived, the fire was extinguished without further damage to the business.
Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver was found to have a suspended license and was arrested and issued citations for driving on a suspended license, cancelled registration and improperly restrained child in a child passenger seat.  Warnings were issued for equipment violations.
February 8, 2024 Officers conducted a traffic stop at a Helen Hwy business for a suspended registration. Upon speaking with the driver, he admitted to having methamphetamine in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended registration, trafficking in methamphetamine, and possession of schedule 2 controlled substance.
Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with a suspended registration. The driver was issued a warning for a head light being out and citations for suspended registration and failure to change address.
February 9, 2024 Officers responded to a Donald E. Thurmond business for a shoplifter. Investigation showed that the subject passed all points of sale with merchandise without paying. The Subject was arrested.
-Officers conducted a traffic stop for failure to obey a traffic control device. The driver had a suspended license and was placed under arrest. The subject was charged with Failure to obey a traffic control device and driving while license was suspended.
Officers responded to a South Main Street business for a person there possibly having a warrant. Investigation showed that the person had a warrant out of Florida, and they wanted to place a hold on her. The subject was arrested, and a fugitive warrant was completed.

-Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was the subject of an earlier BE ON THE
LOOKOUT, investigation showed that the driver was Driving under the influence (DUI) and had
an improperly installed child safety seat, the subject was arrested.
