(Cleveland)- The City of Cleveland Police Department reports the following activities for the week ending August 25th, 2024.
| August 21, 2024 | Officers responded to a Bryant Street residence in reference to a Domestic Violence issue. Upon arrival officers found that two subjects had been in a verbal argument that turned physical. Officers arrested and charged one subject for simple battery domestic violence. |
| August 22, 2024 | Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident on South Main Street. Minor vehicle damage to one vehicle, no injuries.
Officers responded to Appalachian Parkway just past Parkway Plaza for a two-vehicle accident. One vehicle had extensive damage and the other functional damage. An injury was reported. Arrest and charges for DUI, Aggressive Driving and Failure to use turn signal. Officers responded to Appalachian Parkway just past Parkway Plaza for a two-vehicle accident. Extensive damage to both vehicles, and an injury was reported. Charges issued for following too closely. |
| August 23, 2024 | Officers responded to South Main Street for a two-vehicle accident. One vehicle had extensive damage and the other functional damage; no injuries were reported. Arrest and charges issued for driving while license suspended and failure to yield.
Officer responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Donald E. Thurmond Pkwy and Appalachian Parkway. Disabling Damage to both vehicles with a report of a minor injury. Charges were issued for failure to obey a traffic control device. |
| August 25, 2024 | Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at Appalachian Parkway and South Main Street. Both vehicles had extensive damage, no injuries reported. Charges issued for failure to obey traffic control device, no insurance, and hands free. |
