Cleveland Police Department Activity Report Week Ending April 3, 2023

03/27/2023

Officers worked a two-vehicle accident involving a truck and a passenger car on GA Hwy 115 east, with no injuries.

 Officers investigated a shoplifting report at a South Main Street business, an unknown white male entered the store and took a red bull and a prepaid Verizon cell phone. 

Officers investigated shoplifting at a business on Donald E. Thurmond Pkwy. One person was arrested and OR Bonded from the Police Department.

Officers completed a Vehicle Accident at E. Kytle Street location, no injuries.

03/29/2023

Officers responded to a vehicle accident on East Kytle at North Main. It was a minor accident with no injuries.

Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle at a South Main Street Business. They advised that a vehicle had been there 7 days. Officers made contact with the owner of the vehicle, and he had it moved.

03/31/2023

Officer assisted with a car seat install at Cleveland PD.

Officers responded to a South Main Street business about a suspicious vehicle in the parking area. The vehicle was checked, no person was around the vehicle/told the business that they could tow the vehicle which was on their private property.

04/01/2023

Officers responded to a tree down on Old Nacoochee Road between Woodmen Hall Road and the Helen

Hwy/ City Shop responded and removed the tree.

Officers responded to a tree that caused a small fire on Church Street just behind Mountain Valley Bank/  Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.

Officers responded to a hit ad run at a South Main Street Business. No injuries were reported.

04/03/2023

Officer conducted a traffic stop on a truck that was going the wrong way down South Brooks Street and

then turned the wrong way on Quillian Street. The driver was arrested for DUI.

Officers responded to a one-vehicle accident North of Appalachian Parkway and South Main Street, with no injuries.
