David went home to be with he Lord on February 23, 2022. David was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran having served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a General Motors technician for a number of years. He was an auto enthusiast who could immediately tell you what make, year and model a vehicle was; rarely was he wrong. David never met a stranger.
David and Wife, Lyette, moved to White County in 1987. What he enjoyed the most was operating heavy equipment. It was a blessing when White County Road Department hired him as a heavy equipment operator. He was happiest when he was maintaining the county’s gravel roads and keeping the travelers safe. He retired from White County after 20 years.
God granted his wish to pass peacefully and he would thank his hospice team for the compassionate care that was given to him.
