Donald Dawson, age 88, of Dawsonville, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
Donald was born on June 27, 1935, in Mobile, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his mother, Florine Harris, and granddaughter, Aislin Gabriella Rita Morgan. Mr. Dawson was a Sergeant 1st Class in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bryan Dawson and Tiffany Gregory; former wife, Magari Shuford; and grandson, Ari Dawson.
Private services were held at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
