(Cleveland)- Early voting begins today in the 2020 presidential preference primary and the special mayoral race in the city of Cleveland.  For White County voters early voting in the presidential primary will take place at the county registrar’s office on the Helen Highway.   For Cleveland city voters you can cast an early vote in the mayoral race at city hall in Cleveland.   

Early voting for both ends Friday, March 20.  There will be early voting on Saturday, March 14 for the Presidential Preference Primary only.  The Election day for both is March 24.

In addition to the early voting, today begins the process for political party candidates to declare their candidacy, also non-partisan candidates and independent candidates file their notice of candidacy.  The qualifying for local county party candidates will be held at White County Courthouse in Cleveland this week through this Friday at 12 noon.   The election for these candidates will be May 19th.
