(Cleveland)- A family of ten from Florida vacationing in White County had their time here interrupted Saturday when fire broke out at the cabin they were staying in.

White County Public Safety Director David Murphy said White County Fire Station 6 was dispatched Saturday morning at approximately 10:30 AM to a smoke investigation in the area of Little Bear Court and Gold Flume Way.

Murphy said upon arrival of Engine 6, they found a rental cabin fully involved in fire on Little Bear Court.  Cleveland Fire was dispatched on Mutual Aid along with county fire stations two and four.  Eight firefighters spent approximately five hours on scene keeping the blaze from spreading and shuttling water to the scene, according to Murphy.

Murphy said, the cabin was a total loss and no injuries were reported.  The American Red Cross was called to assist the family.

The fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
