I live in Hall County and am a single mother of 2.
Can I receive food?
Most food giveaways will give you food (churches and thrift stores) whether you are a resident or not. Food pantries require residency. There are energy assistance programs, county specific. Salvation army partners with local churches . Some churches use Charity checkers to see if people are church and assistance “hopping”. There are church programs for Christmas assistance. Food stamps and WIC are generous, and people abuse them. Schools have free lunches and backpack buddies. No kid needs to go hungry
