(Cleveland)- A mobile home was destroyed by fire Friday in White County.

Bryce Barrett, White County Public Safety Public Information Officer said around 3:30 pm, White County 911 Dispatch was notified of a residential fire in the area of Stadlers Gap Road. It was then confirmed that the home was vacant at the time of the fire. Within minutes White County Fire Service personnel arrived on scene to a fully involved mobile home.

Cleveland Fire Department responded to provide mutual aid.

The home was declared a total loss. Fire personnel worked quickly to contain the fire, and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures.

White County CERT’s Rehab Unit also responded aiding the first responders in combatting the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
