A reported motorcycle wreck on Hollywood Highway outside just after 9 a.m. Friday injured the rider of a scooter.
Habersham County E-911 dispatchers received a call at 9:05 a.m. on August 16 reporting a rider down on Hollywood Highway near Clover Hill Lane between Bob Patton Road and Hills Crossing Road outside Clarkesville.
Habersham County Emergency Services Med 9 transported the man emergent to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment of injuries.
Traffic in the area was impacted until the wreck was cleared at 10:08 a.m.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating. Details of the wreck and the person involved should be obtained from that agency.
