Grace was born November 19, 1927, to Ora and Raleigh Standridge, in Mineral Bluff, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Truelove; daughter, Judy Truelove; and granddaughter Sadie Truelove.

Survivors include children, Joyce Truelove, Phil Truelove, and Jan Truelove; grand-children, Kipling (Jonathan) Matas, Ian Simmons, Lucas (Sarah) Simmons, Dutch (Mary Beth) Guest, Graham Meers, Amber Meers and Landon Meers; great grand-children, Ben Matas, Anamarie Matas, Sarah Beth Guest, and Mack Guest.

Grace was all about family, home, and community. If you walked through her door, you could expect an offer of coffee, cake, pie, or a full meal, whatever she had, Grace wanted to share. She traveled extensively with Roy across the US and abroad opening her mind to many cultures and experiences but always loved home the most.

Grace enjoyed time with friends, whether at a ceramics class, a sightseeing drive or just visiting and talking. Church life was important to her and she looked forward to helping at Bible school, revivals, and other activities.

After marrying Roy, the couple joined Bethel UMC. They were devoted to Bethel’s ministry all of their lives.

Grace was the last living among her brothers and sisters and in-laws leaving a generation of legacy to hard work, faithfulness, and love.

Family was so important to Grace and she will be remembered always as “Mama” and “Grandmother”!  W. R. Strickland & Sons, Clermont, Ga.
