The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced Monday afternoon that Harlee Grogan had been named the Softball Pitcher of the Week. This marks the second time this season that a player has been recognized for Player of the Week honors by the AAC. It also marks the second time in Grogan’s career at Truett-McConnell that she has received this honor.

Grogan, a senior from Gainesville, GA, went 2-0 on the week only allowing 3 hits in 40 batters faced in 12.0 innings pitched. She allowed 0 runs/0 unearned runs for an 0.00 ERA on the week with two shutout wins against Brewton-Parker College (5-0) and Union College (8-0).

Grogan is 11-8 on the year and boasts a 1.57 ERA with 124 strikeouts in 156.1 innings pitched.

The Lady Bears are back in action today as they travel to Montreat, NC to take on AAC foe Montreat College for a doubleheader. The game is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM.
