(CLEVELAND) – A driver caused heavy damage to the front of Dominos Pizza in Cleveland Wednesday night, and also reportedly damaged numerous vehicles in the city. Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt who worked with Cleveland Police on the incident said, “ the incident stated in Hall County where a man allegedly stole a van, drove it to another location and there he is accused of stealing a pickup truck. The man then drove the truck to Cleveland around 10:30 AM.
According to Pruitt, the first incident occurred on Bryant Street where he stuck four parked vehicles, he left there and hit a passing motorist at the intersection of Bryant Street and Highway 75 south. The subject then drove to Dominos Pizza where he said to have got into an altercation with a customer. He left the store got in the pickup and backed it through the entrance of Dominos.
After hitting Dominos he drove back to Bryant Street where he struck four more parked vehicles, by now Cleveland Police was on scene and the subject ran, but was caught by Cleveland Police after a short foot chase. He was arrested and taken to the White County Detention Center, where he remains.
