Helicopter trimming trees on Hood Street in Cleveland
(Cleveland)- There have been numerous posting appearing on Facebook and folks talking about that strange looking helicopter, flying around Cleveland, with some sort of mechanism hanging down from it. The helicopter has been flying along power line right of ways.
Adam Emrich, local manager for Georgia Power has advised that they currently have transmission crews doing routine Right- of- Way side tree trimming along the edge of the power lines. Emrich said this is done to help maintain reliability with the power service in the area.
According to Emrich the crews should complete their work by Monday.
