Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Jeremy Scott
Dockery, age 33 of Cleveland. Jeremy passed away Wednesday, February 10,
2016.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Sunday, February 14, 2016 in
the funeral home chapel with Jody Winkler, Rev. Kris Butler and Rev. Mike
Borchert officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Jeremy was born in Hall County on November 2, 1982 to Jerrell Dockery and
Debbie Taylor Dockery. He graduated White County High School in 2001 and soon
after realized his dream of working with animals. He became a Veterinary
Technician working most recently with Murrayville Veterinary Clinic. Jeremy
loved animals, the family farm and spending time with his family,especially his
nieces. He was a longtime member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and
is preceded in death by his grandparents Vernelle Taylor, Earl and Carollton
Dockery as well as his uncle, Jerry Dockery. He is survived by his parents, Jerrell
and Debbie Dockery of Cleveland; sister Nan Johnson and companion Dewayne
Duckworth also of Cleveland and nieces, Courtney Johnson, Makayla Johnson and
Abigail Johnson. Jeremy is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins
and additional relatives.
