( Cleveland)- This is your final week to cast a ballot in the party presidential preference primary in the early voting process. A special Saturday voting day was held this past Saturday and White County Chief Voter Registrar Lisa Manning said, the turnout was, “ pretty good”.
She said, “we would have like to have seen more”, 81 registered voters cast ballots Saturday.
The Voter Registrar’s office is the place to vote early and the office is located upstairs in the Mauney Building, north of Cleveland on the Helen Highway. The office will be open Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 PM.
Manning said she expects a heavy turnout this week, as people take advantage of early voting in an effort to escape possible long lines at the poling locations on March first.
