Lynn Waldon Brock, age 64 of Cornelia, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 28, 2024 following an extended illness.
Born in Toccoa, Georgia on April 03, 1960, she was a daughter of Carl Waldon of Alto, Georgia & the late Rachel Whiten Waldon. Lynn was a graduate of Habersham Central High School, Class of 1977. She worked for Schrieber Foods for many years and also as a nutritionist with South Habersham Middle School. Lynn was one of the most loyal people in the world. She enjoyed baking and was well known for her fried pies. In her spare time, Lynn loved taking trips to Cherokee and crocheting. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Walker McFalls & by her step-mother, Lucy Waldon.
Survivors include her former husband & caregiver, Daniel Brock of Cornelia, GA; daughter, Lorrie McFalls; granddaughter, Kenzie McFalls both of Toccoa, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Stephanie & Ricky Abernathy of Banks County; brothers & sisters-in-law, Rodney & Wendy Waldon; Doozer & Tammy Waldon all of Lula, GA; special daughters, Hannah Brock & Brianna Brock both of Cornelia, GA; special friend & caregiver, Colleen McNulty of Cornelia, GA; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 07, 2024 at Hillside Memorial Chapel in Clarkesville with Pastor Danny O’Kelly officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour on Sunday, July 07, 2024.
