(Cleveland) | The Truett McConnell men’s soccer team scored seven first-half goals in a 14-0 victory over Toccoa Falls Wednesday evening down at Toccoa, GA.  The scoring started early in the game when Joao Costascored the first goal 4 minutes into play. 
At the 20 minute marker, the Bears started a run scoring a goal for the next three minutes by Giovanni Giraudo(20:03), Victor Clemente (21:10), and Lucas Mostajo (22:06). Right before half time, the Bears made a second run to extend their lead 7-0.
The bears dominated the field by allowing Toccoa Falls to take a total of three shots in the game that were saved by goalkeeper Evan Gaffney.  The Bears came out strong in the second half scoring another 7 goals. 

TMU outshot Toccoa Falls, 42-3, in the match for a second sweep victory for the season! 

With a strong start for the season, the Bears will try to keep their momentum rolling as they travel to Reinhardt University tomorrow afternoon and face Brescia University. The game is scheduled to start at 4:30 PM.
