(Cleveland)- Early voting begins today for the July 24th  primary runoffs.

White County voters will be able to vote by visiting the Voter Registrar’s Office located in the Mauney Community Service Center on the Helen Highway.   

Chief Voter Registrar Lisa Manning says even if you did not vote in the primaries back in May but were eligible to do so, you may vote in the runoff. If you voted in either the Democratic or Republican Primary on May 22, you cannot change parties if you vote in the runoff. Early in-person voting will continue through Friday July 20.  

You can early vote, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM -5:00PM and there will be no Saturday voting.

In White County there is one runoff race for District two Board of Education between incumbent Charlie Bryson and challenger John Solomon. There are also state races for governor, lieutenant governor and secretary of state on the Republican ballot and state schools superintendent on the Democratic ballot.
