Ralph Kenneth Scott, age 86, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

Mr. Scott was born on November 23, 1937, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Kenneth and Eva Mae Laney Scott.  Ralph enjoyed panning for gold, stamp and coin collecting, baseball cards, and working in his yard.  He briefly attended Georgia Tech and was a Georgia Tech football fan, a Braves baseball fan, and enjoyed watching ladies golf.  Ralph loved his wife and family, key lime pie, and Dairy Queen hamburgers.  Mr. Scott was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a K-9 policeman, and his favorite colors were red, white, and blue.  He worked for Ford Motor Company, where he retired after 30 years of service.  In addition to his parent, Ralph was preceded in death by his son, Terry Jones; and brother-in-law, Denny Arrington.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Elouise Scott; children, Lynn and Frank Grindle, Trudy and Dan Boggs, Deanna Jones, Melinda and Lee York; grandchildren, Matthew Boggs, Cody Boggs, Whitley Grindle, Taylor Jones, Breanna Jones, Christopher Jones (Makayla), Jacob Coggins (Tabetha Coggins Griffin), and Brooklyn Wolfe (Shawn); great-granddaughters, Naomi Boggs and Noah Archer; 5 other great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Arrington; nephews and extended family also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Danny Kastner, and the Rev. Bobby Jones will officiate.  Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
