Weather-Alert

(Cleveland)- There is a slight chance we could see some hefty thunderstorms late today and tonight across Northeast Georgia.  White County Public Safety Director David Murphy advised Tuesday morning that the National Weather Service reported  a strong storm system will move out of the plains and into the Tennessee valley late today allowing for a cold front to push into the region this evening through tonight.

Ahead of this feature will be a squall line featuring showers with scattered embedded thunderstorms.   According to the weather service, some storms could be strong to severe…especially over portions of NW Georgia. Here in White County the threat is described as slight.
