White County voters lined up to cast an early ballot Friday

(Cleveland)- It has been a busy past three weeks with registered voters in White County getting out and casting ballots in the advanced voting process.

Friday was the last day of early voting and was the biggest of those,  as far as turnout, with a total of 669 people casting votes. That adds up to just shy of seven thousand voters, 6945 to be exact that cast early ballots. Add to that the 558 absentee ballots that have been received and White County Election Supervisor

Jody Davis said, “ we are well above 30 percent for advance voting and absentee by mail turned in  and that is of the registered voters,  so we  are near 7,000 of our 22, 000 registered voters have already cast their  ballots.”

Davis says he sees 45 percent of the registered voters turning out Tuesday to vote at their individual precincts.

Remember no early voting today ( Monday)  and all the precinct locations around the county will be open Tuesday from 7 AM until 7 PM for voters to cast ballots.
