(Cleveland)- Truett McConnell University (TMU) just announced significant enhancements to its Walpot School of Education, with  Mrs. Taylor Gilleland as the new Chair alongside esteemed educators Mrs. Staci Ward, Mrs. Susan Sargent, and the continued support of Dr. Julie Lutz.

Gilleland assumes the role of Chair with a profound dedication to TMU’s mission, committed to fostering the school’s growth and maintaining its commitment to delivering a high-quality, biblically centered education.

Staci Ward joins TMU as a lecturer, bringing 30 years of invaluable experience from her tenure as a teacher, and principal in the White County School system.

Susan Sargent, who recently retired after over three decades in the classroom, enriches the faculty with her extensive knowledge.

Dr. Lutz continues her tenure as a lecturer, having played a pivotal role in advancing TMU’s education program over the past decade. Her leadership was instrumental in tripling the size of the education program during her tenure as Chair of the Walpot School of Education.
