(Cleveland)- White County Sheriff Rick Kelley reports a traffic stop in the county Monday night has resulted in the confiscation of almost two pounds of Meth and the arrest of a suspect on trafficking charges.

Sheriff Kelley in a news release said on Monday, August 26, at approximately 9:00 pm, a White County Sheriff’s Office Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Highway 115 West near Long Mountain Road for an obstructed tag and window tint.

Kelley said, during the traffic stop, K-9 Jelly was deployed and conducted an open-air sniff. As a result, the K-9 alerted on the vehicle and a probable cause search was conducted.

According to the sheriff, the search yielded 30 ounces of Methamphetamine (1.88 pounds) and the arrest of 59-year-old William Ausbrooks, of Stone Mountain, Ga.  Ausbrooks  was arrested and charged with Trafficking

Methamphetamine.
