Van Arthur Ingram, age 72, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at New Horizons at

Limestone in Gainesville, GA.

Van was a Lumpkin County native and lived most of his life in Lumpkin County. He had a career in sales and

worked for Slacks Auto Parts for over 25 years. He was a member of the The Fountain Church of God of

Prophecy in Dahlonega. He was a Christian loving man and he loved the Lord with all his heart.

Van was the son of the late Van Ingram and Alma Ruth Fitts Ingram, and was also preceded in death by a sister,

Kathy Ingram.

Van is survived by former wife and best friend, Joanne Ingram, Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in- law,

Richard and Bobbie Ingram, San Antonio, TX; daughter, Rebecca Buffington, Gainesville, GA; grandchildren,

Lawrence Ingram, Jack Buffington, and Alex Buffington; brothers and sisters-in- law, David and Wileen

Ingram, Dawsonville, GA, Gary and Wanda Ingram, Dawsonville, GA, Mack and Mary Ann Ingram,

Cleveland, GA, Roger and Janie Ingram, Dahlonega, GA, and Sam Ingram, Dahlonega, GA; sisters and

brothers-in- law, Wilma Jane Ingram, Dahlonega, GA, Vickie Gottschalk, Auburn, GA, Teresa and Larry

Abernathy, Gainesville, GA, Wynell and Ronald Townley, Dawsonville, GA, Amanda and Danny Roper,

Gainesville, GA, Fannie and Harlon Smallwood, Lula, GA. Numerous other relatives also survive.

A memorial service for Van is scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday September 27, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home

Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Tommy Panter and Rev. Bo Robinson will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Tuesday from 12 Noon until 1

PM and immediately following the memorial service.
