primary+election1(Cleveland)- You may not live in South Carolina, but you can vote in the Presidential Primary Saturday.  That’s right, early voting in Georgia for the March first primary is underway and this is the  one Saturday that you can cast a ballot.

Lisa Manning Chief Voter Registrar said Friday that in the two weeks of early voting they have had a good turnout, with 381 registered voters casting ballots in person and 127 ballots returned by mail.  But,  Manning says,  we need more people to vote early in order to avoid long lines on March first, Primary Election Day.

The Voter Registrar’s office is the place to vote early and the office is located upstairs in the Mauney Building, north of Cleveland.  The office will be open today from 9 AM until 4 PM.  Manning advised, the office will be open next week for early voting  Monday through Friday  from  8 am until 5 PM.

If you don’t take advantage of early voting, you can expect lines at your poling place on Tuesday March first.
