Seniors and their parents honored before the game

(Cleveland) The White County Warriors used all 8 of their seniors on Wednesday night to hammer the Johnson Knights by an 8-0 final score in the team’s final home game of the 2015 season. All the seniors were honored before the game in a ceremony with their coaches and families on the field. Everybody in the Warrior lineup reached base and two different senior pitchers combined for the 3-hit shutout.

Senior Joel Pritchett started the game on the mound and got the win going five innings and striking out nine batters while only allowing two hits. Ethan Ramey came on for the final two innings and allowed only one hit and struck out four.

All eight seniors were in the starting lineup and contributed to the win: Joel Pritchett (2-3 RBI, Run), Stetson Gearing (2-4 RBI), Jason Ward (2 RBI, BB), Ethan Ramey (1-2, 2BB), Chris Jackson (1-3, HR), Nick Moore (2 Runs, BB), Jacob Ingram (1-2, Run, BB), and Chris Brock (1-3, RBI). The Warriors scored two runs in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th innings. Tray Gearin, was the only under-classman to start and he added two runs scored and an RBI.
