Sports – After losing round one to the Wolves on Tuesday, the Warriors were looking for redemption yesterday in the second game of the series against Wesleyan. But it was not to be, as Wesleyan took the lead early in the game, and took that lead to a runaway victory, 9-1.

The opening inning saw the Wolves score first with 2 runs, and an early game ankle injury to White County Senior, Kyler Mayo would see the Warriors left scoreless. Wesleyan kept the pressure on in the second, starting the inning off with a home run, adding three more runs to their score, while the Warriors again sat scoreless.

Four more runs by the Wolves in the top of the third, put the Warriors in a major deficit, and with both teams scoreless from the fourth inning on, the only ray of hope was a home run from Joseph Bowels (Sr.) in the bottom of the third, finally placing the Warriors on the board.

There were many stolen bases in the remainder of the game, however, none would be profitable, and Wesleyan would take the win in game two, 9 to 1 Wolves.

The Warriors will close out the series against the Wolves tomorrow night, and the next broadcast game will be Monday, April 3rd, weather permitting when the Warriors go up against North Hall. First pitch is at 5:55 pm, with the pregame show beginning at 5:45 on your home for the Warriors.
