(Cleveland)  – It was Homecoming Friday night as your White County Warriors took on the North Hall Trojans in high school football action.

The Trojans were first to put points on the board early in the first quarter, however, the Warriors were quick to follow with a 5-yard touchdown by Zach Godfrey.

North Hall would also score first in the second quarter with a touchdown just 6 seconds in. A fumble recovery by Tripp Nix would allow White County to tie the game once again with another touchdown by Zach Godfrey tying the score at 14. Both teams would score an additional time before the half with a huge 46-yard touchdown by Tripp Nix leading the Warriors into Homecoming celebrations and the game tied at 21.

Coming out of the half, the Warriors would fumble twice allowing the Trojans to jump ahead 2 scores, 21-35. White County would struggle to score but also keep North Hall from scoring any further through the quarter.

The fourth and final quarter would see some strong plays but also some big setbacks as White County would turn over the ball and ultimately the Trojans would win with a final score of 21-35, North Hall.

UGA Bulldogs are off this week and will return next Saturday to play against Alabama, with the pregame at 3:30 pm and kickoff at 7:30 pm. The Warriors will be back next Friday against Lumpkin County. Tune into WRWH starting at 6 pm with pregame, kickoff at 7:30 pm.
