(Cleveland)- There’s a bunch of weather advisories out this (Friday) morning from the National Weather Service. None of them have anything to do with the hyped-up social media big winter storm prediction.

The National Weather Service is saying that light snow is possible over northeast Georgia late this afternoon and evening and it’s going to get windy and very cold.

A fast-moving storm system may bring scattered light precipitation this afternoon and evening over parts of northeast Georgia. As very cold air moves in behind the system, some of the precipitation may mix with or change to light snow this afternoon. At this time, any snow accumulations are expected to be very light, less than a quarter of an inch if any.

Behind the storm system, very cold temperatures will move into the area. Weather forecasters say the combination of 10 to 15-degree temperatures and wind gusts up to 30 to 35 mph will result in wind chill values from 5 above zero to 10 below. A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for portions of north Georgia.

Use caution and dress appropriately if you plan to be outdoors tonight and Saturday morning. Prolonged exposure may lead to frostbite or hypothermia.
