(Cleveland)- The White County 911 Communications Center is currently experiencing an outage affecting our non-emergency and administrative phone lines. This issue is also impacting surrounding counties in our region.

Bryce Barrett, White County Public Service Public Information Officer said, “We want to assure the public that this outage DOES NOT affect 911 emergency calls. At this time, our 911 lines remain fully operational, and emergency services are available without interruption.”

Barrett said we are actively working with Windstream to resolve this issue.  Please remember, for all emergencies, continue to dial 911.

For non-emergency matters, for the duration of the outage only, the public may use 911 to reach our Communications Center.

The county will provide updates and advise when the issue is resolved.
